Abstrak

Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School for Boys and Girls is located in Genukwatu, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency. The social life of students at the boarding school can be seen in how they learn to manage their social relationships in accordance with their religious teachings. This research aims to describe the dynamics of interactions and the communication styles of female student groups at Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School in Genukwatu town, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency. This study utilised a descriptive qualitative approach that began with data collection, both primary and secondary. The next step, the author conducted a critique by verifying the validity of the sources through source triangulation. The outcome showed that the primary factor influencing this change was the implementation of existing rules at the boarding school. These rules created new interaction patterns, which some students initially objected to, but over time, they began to adapt and become accustomed to the boarding school environment. This adaptation process is individual, meaning each student adapts at a different pace; some adapt quickly, while others take longer.
