Retorika Islami: Seni Berbicara di Depan Umum dalam Perspektif PAI Terpadu

Abstrak

Public speaking skills are often not comprehensively integrated with the values ​​of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), so that rhetorical practices tend to be technical without a strong spiritual and ethical foundation. This study aims to formulate the concept of Islamic rhetoric as the art of public speaking integrated through the approach of Islamic Religious Education subjects, including the Qur'an and Hadith, Islamic Cultural History (SKI), Aqidah and Akhlak, Fiqh, and Muhammadiyah. The method used is a qualitative study with a descriptive-analytical approach through literature review and conceptual analysis. The results show that Islamic rhetoric emphasizes honesty (ṣidq), wisdom (ḥikmah), historical exemplary behavior (uswah), communication ethics (akhlaq al-karimah), and legal conformity (fiqh) in conveying messages, which are reinforced by the progressive and enlightening values ​​of Muhammadiyah da'wah. The resulting rhetorical technique does not only focus on vocal and gestural aspects, but also message integrity and intention as a form of worship. In conclusion, the integration of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) into public speaking creates a holistic, ethical, and transformative model of Islamic rhetoric for building impactful communication.
