AL-ARKHABIIL is a form of the Earth's surface that symbolizes any closely adjacent group of islands. This word originates from the Greek: αρχιπέλαγος, αρχιπέλαγος, which is the historical name of the Aegean Sea. It is believed that the name was derived from that particular sea because it is filled with contiguous islands, and the largest archipelago in the world is the Indonesian archipelago. With that name, it is hoped that STAI as-sunnah can be useful for people throughout Indonesia
